Shazam New Secure Code Information
The MasterCard® SecureCode™ (SecureCode) platform migration SHAZAM announced April 1 (reference code NRNCCLNSH or NRNCCLNSC) has been rescheduled. Your migration to the new platform will take place on Sept. 9.
New Registration Website URL
As a reminder, please post the following URL to your website prior to the Sept. 9 migration:
Your cardholders will need to use the new enrollment website to activate SecureCode. The existing URL on SHAZAM Access will not be available after Sept. 9, so plan to remove any links by that date.
Your cardholders will be prompted to register again the next time they make a purchase at a participating SecureCode merchant, or they may visit the new registration website URL listed above to register. Instructions are available in the updated 3D Secure Reference Guide.
New Search Feature in SHAZAM Access
The Transactions tab in SHAZAM Access now offers a search feature to help you research your cardholders' attempts to activate SecureCode. These search results will show the result of each attempt, making it easier for you to help your cardholders.
To access this feature, log in to SHAZAM Access, click the Transactions tab, and then click the VbV/SecureCode button. Refer to the updated 3D Secure Reference Guide for more information.
All information provided by the cardholder during enrollment, with the exception of the CVV2/CVC2, will appear in SHAZAM Access. You can compare what the cardholder entered with the card information on file with SHAZAM.
Updated SHAZAM Risk Management (FD020-R) Report
The SHAZAM Risk Management (FD020-R) Report will be updated to show your cardholders’ successful and unsuccessful attempts, along with the reject reason for unsuccessful attempts.
